Investment climate conducive in Nepal, says Dhakal

KATHMANDU: Vice-president of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) Chandra Prasad Dhakal has asserted that the investment climate has been improving in Nepal.

Dhakal said that the effective implementation of the labor and social security related laws and policies have helped in improving the investment climate in the country.

He maintained that the relations between the workers and employers have been improving in Nepal in recent days.

Addressing an international conference related to labor and social dialogue in The Hague, Netherlands, Dhakal stated that the laws and policies have helped to make the relations between the workers, employers, and trade unions cordial and stronger.

He added that an environment of investment and industrial development has been created in Nepal after the formation of a stable government.

Dhakal also urged world’s investors to make investments in Nepal saying that there are opportunities for investing in sectors such as hydro-electricity, tourism, agriculture, and infrastructure development.
