Nepal beats Chinese Taipei 2-0



KATHMANDU: Nepal defeated Chinese Taipei 2-0 in the second match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Preliminary Competition and 2023 AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers on Tuesday.

For Nepal, Anjan Bista scored at the 3rd and 63rd minutes of the match.

With the win, Nepal has gathered three points in two matches.

There are Kuwait, Jordan, Australia and Chinese Taipei in Nepal’s group. Nepal will now travel to Canberra, Australia for a match slated for October 10.
