12 dengue patients undergoing treatment at Koshi Hospital

BIRATNAGAR : Twelve people infected with dengue have been receiving treatment at Biratnagar-based Provincial (Koshi) Hospital, said doctors.

All the infected people are from Morang and Sunsari districts, said Doctor Sangya Gyawali.

Following the spread of dengue infection across the country, Biratnagar Metropolitan City has started initiatives to control the disease. It has launched various awareness campaigns.

The hospital has stock of dengue test kits, said Gyawali. High fever, joint ache, eyeball ache, rashes on body parts and symptoms of vomiting are symptoms of dengue, she said.
