NC’s 2nd phase of nationwide awareness campaign begins

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress has started its second phase of nationwide awareness campaign from today. The main opposition party is starting the campaign in the Mountain, Hill and Tarai-Madhes regions on the occasion of 106th birth anniversary of BP Koirala.

According to Bishwa Prakash Sharma, spokesperson of the Nepali Congress, saplings will be planted in 330 provincial assembly constituencies on the first day. According to Sharma, the NC will plant a total of 34, 980 saplings in each provincial assembly constituency.

The NC has already deployed representatives in all the seven provinces. A total of 330 representatives have been deployed in the second phase of the campaign.

The awareness campaign will last until September 24.
