Crux of Oli, Dahal Conflict



The relations that have soured in recent times between the supreme leaders of Nepal Communist Party (NCP), KP Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal has been analyzed as Oli’s ‘higher ambitions’, reports The Himalayan Times. The report states that Prime Minister Oli wants to hold power in the center whereas NCP Co-chairperson Dahal wants to empower the local bodies. Also Dahal is dissatisfied with PM Oli’s ‘one-man-show-attitude’ and his ignorance towards settling the transnational justice among several other issues, according to THT.
