HANOI: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is on a five-day official visit to Vietnam, has visited the Ha Long Bay on Friday.

The Ha Long Bay is a beautiful natural wonder and one of the attractive popular travel destinations in Quang Ninh Province of Vietnam. The name Hạ Long means descending dragon.

The Bay is scattered with 1,600 limestone islands and islets and covers an area of over 1,500 sq km. This astonishing area was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994.
