ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has asked India for a military de-escalation of border tension between security forces of the two neighbors, Indian media reports said.
In a message sent through diplomatic channels, Pakistan urged India for a military de-escalation along the Line of Control (LoC).
This is the second call of de-escalation by Pakistan in a month. Pakistan urged India in the wake of the border skirmishes after the terror attack in Pulwama in February that killed over 45 CRPF men. According to reports, the last message for “de-escalation” was sent in mid-April.
However, India has stuck to its stance saying that de-escalation will happen only when Pakistan adopts stern measures to stop terror activities from the Pakistani soil. (Agencies)
