KMC contributes Rs 4 million to Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund

KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has handed over a check of Rs 4.031 million to Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund.

Mayor Bidhya Sundar Shakya and KMC Chief Administrative Officer Yadav Prasad Koirala jointly handed over the check to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at his office in Singha Durbar.

KMC on Thursday had decided to provide an assistance of Rs 2.5 million from the municipality adding one day’s salary of the KMC’s staffs and the people’s representatives.
