NCP Secretariat meeting decides to amend party’s statute

KATHMANDU: The ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has decided to make some amendments to the party’s statute.

A Secretariat meeting of the party held under the chairmanship of Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Monday decided to that end, accepting the decision made by the party’s Standing Committee.

Spokesperson Narayankaji Shrestha said an amendment proposal will be readied incorporating the issues discussed in earlier Secretariat meetings.

He added that the proposal will be implemented once endorsed by the party’s Standing and Central Committees.

The meeting also decided that the next Secretariat meeting will discuss a report prepared to review the party’s performance in the November 30 by-elections.
