2 killed in motorcycle-ambulance collision

SIRAHA: Two people were killed after an ambulance collided head-on with a motorcycle at Gol Bazaar Municipality-4 along the East-West Highway in the district on Monday.

The deceased have been identified as Bishnu Mahara, 35, and Rakesh Mandal, 34, of Siraha Municipality-12.

The incident took place when a motorcycle, Sa 6 Pa 8062, heading to east collided head-on with an ambulance, Sa 1 Cha, 693, coming from the opposite direction.

According to police, Mahara died on the spot while Mandal breathed his last while being rushed to the hospital.
