KATHMANDU: Nepal is locking horns with India in the finals of the women’s football under the 13th South Asian Games (SAG) at the Pokhara Stadium on Monday.
Both the teams are equally competitive and the tournament is likely to be quite entertaining according to coaches. Nepal is looking for chances to create history by defeating India.
Nepal had lost to India 0-1 in the league stage match and in the final of the previous edition of the SAG.
Being the host team, Nepal has an advantage of receiving backup from the audience that will keep the morale of the team high during the game.
It has also the opportunity to move ahead strategically learning through the past mistakes.
