KATHMANDU: Chinese President Xi Jinping is visiting Nepal on a two-day visit from October 12 to 13, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has announced on Wednesday.
He is visiting Nepal at the invitation of his Nepali counterpart Bidya Devi Bhandari.
During his visit, President Xi is scheduled to meet with President Bhandari. He is also hold a delegation-level official talks with Prime Minister KP Oli, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Likewise, President Bhandari is scheduled to host a banquet in honor of President Xi and the Chinese delegation, the ministry said.
PM Oli and Xi will also witness the signing of bilateral agreements and memoranda of understanding.
President Xi is flying directly to Kathmandu on Saturday afternoon from Chennai after concluding his two-day visit to India.
He is visiting India from October 11 to 12.
