Don’t make incendiary remark, urges RPP Chair Kamal Thapa

HETAUDA: Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Kamal Thapa, has urged the political leadership not to give a speech in a way it incites religious clash.

At an orientation program organized by RPP training department here Monday, Chairman Thapa reiterated that such statement could not contribute to stability and strengthening of democracy.

“As 91 percent of the total population in the country is Hindu, no political party could violate citizen’s religious freedom,” he said, announcing that his party was launching a struggle to ensure Nepal as a Hindu state.

He suggested the present government led by NCP that it put in priority the infrastructure development and economic prosperity by giving up arrogance and impractical ambition.
