KATHMANDU: Leader of Samajbadi Party Nepal Hisila Yami has sustained injuries in a scooter accident in Lalitpur.
Wife of former Prime Minister Dr. Babu Ram Bhattarai, Yami is undergoing treatment at the Gwarko-based B&B Hospital.
She was riding pillion on the scooter when they met with an accident at Gwarko. They were heading towards the party office to participate in a function.
According to Bishwadeep Pandey, the party’s publicity department deputy chief, her health condition is improving.
