Nepali Congress extends grief over deaths in Trishuli bus plunge



KATHMANDU: The main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) has extended grief over the death of three persons and the disappearance of many others in a bus accident.

A passenger bus, Na 6 Kha 7469, en route to Kathmandu from Malangawa of Sarlahi had plunged into the Trishuli River Friday morning leaving three dead and many others missing.

NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba expressed grief over the loss of the lives and extended condolences to the bereaved families. He urged the government to intensify rescue operation and to find measures with in-depth study to control the rising number of road accidents.
