Unity among Republic partners must for prosperity, says Chairman Dahal

KATHMANDU: Chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Pushpa Kamal Dahal, has said all forces involved to bring in Republic system had no option at present but to unite to ensure prosperity in the country.

At a program organized by the Sharma Literary Foundation there on Friday, Chairman Dahal stressed that the partners for change should unite again for the peaceful transition of the country. He released a collection of essays, ‘Jhariko Soundarya’ and the Shami literary monthly at the program. The essays are penned by Dinanath Sharma.

“There is no alternative to the institutionalization of change. Throwing a stone in the dark has carried no meaning,” he argued, asserting that he had led the rebellion and took responsibility for transforming the country into a peaceful state. He also made a commitment to move ahead by internalizing both hope and despair of people because even the historic responsibility of party unification was complete.
