Writs filed at SC demanding pesticides testing



KATHMANDU: Two writs have been filed at the Supreme Court (SC) on Tuesday against the government’s decision to halt testing Indian fruits and vegetables for pesticides at the border points.

Advocates Swagat Nepal and Narayan Prasad Dawadi moved the apex court demanding an interim order for testing imported fruits and vegetables for pesticides.

The court will hear the writs on Wednesday.
