DAILEKH: The Dailekh District Court has sentenced a youth to life in jail for killing his own mother and grandmother with a spade. Balaram Sarki, 26, of Narayan Municipality-3, Bhurti was slapped with life imprisonment on the murder case.
He had murdered his mother Parbati Sarki, 47, and grandmother Juwara Sarki, 70, with the use of spade on last December 17.
A single bench of district court Sanat Chandra Lawat handed the order on Monday. He was said to have committed the crime over family dispute.
