KATHMANDU: The Parliamentary Hearing Special Committee (PHSC) on Monday approved the name of four Nepali ambassadors recommended by the government.

A meeting of the committee okayed Maheshraj Dahal as Nepali ambassador to Australia, Dawafuti Sherpa to Spain, Narad Bhardwaj to Qatar and Banisdhar Mishra to Bangladesh, according to the source.

As per the constitutional provision, recommended ambassadors have to face a parliamentary hearing before being appointed by the President.
