Houthis drone attacks target Saudi Arabia: Al Masirah TV

CAIRO: Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthi movement launched multiple drone attacks on military hangers in Saudi Arabia’s Jizan airport in Saudi Arabia near the border with Yemen.

The attacks obviously targeted Saudi drone bunkers and stations in the airport. The group’s TV Al-Masirah reported the same through a tweet on Sunday.

The Houthis overthrew the Saudi-backed internationally recognized government from power in the Yemeni capital Sanaa in late 2014. They have recently stepped up missile and drone attacks on Saudi cities in the past weeks.

The Saudi kingdom, however, claimed that Houthis attack  was intercepted by its defenses and destroyed. (Agencies)
