Youth rescued from kidnappers’ clutches, four arrested



BHAKTAPUR: The Metropolitan Police Circle, Thimi, has rescued a youth safely from his abductors on Tuesday.

Police also arrested four persons involved in kidnapping Santosh Tumbapu, 25, of Damak municipality, recently living at Changunarayan municipality-9.

The arrested are Bikas Lama, 33, of Changunarayan municipality-7; Ramesh Lama, 29, of Bouddha of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-6, Dhanlal Shrestha, 32, of Kathmandu Metropolis-1; and Bikas Thapa, 33, of Budhabare-3, Jhapa district, said Deputy Superintendent of Police at Police Circle, Jagati, Shishu Sharma.

The team of police rescued Santosh safely from Bramhayani of Bhaktapur municipality after getting the information that Santosh was lifted using the car, Ba 9 Cha 1801.
