Middleman arrested with bribe



KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Monday arrested a middleman red-handed with bribe.

The anti-graft body said that acting on a complaint that the middleman has been demanding bribe from examinees appearing in the trial examination of auto rickshaw, a CIAA team arrested Sarraf Sheikh with Rs 17,000 in kickback.

He had demanded the amount as a bribe for government employees deployed at the trail center, CIAA said in a statement.
