Four cadres of Biplav-led outfit surrender



BANKE: Four leaders and cadres of Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’-led group have so far surrendered themselves at District Administration Office in Banke district after government’s ban on the group.

They are Chunna Khan, 66, of Khajura Rural Municipality-8 of Banke district, Dilli Bahadur DC and Ramji Kunwar of Salyan district and Gagan Khadka of Rukum Chaurjahari.

According to the District Administration Office, they have been released after making them sign on a document that they would not involve in violent activities in future.

Chief District Officer Madan Bhujel said that they might have surrendered thinking they might face problems due to government’s ban on the group.

He said, “Although the surrendered leaders and cadres have been released, their activities are under surveillance.”
