Budget for controlling monkey menace



KHANDBARI: The Khandbari municipality has allocated a budget of Rs 200 thousand to control monkey menace.

The budget has been allocated to study the measures that can be adopted to control money terror in the municipality.

The municipality is set to conduct a thorough study on the terror posed by monkeys at several wards of the municipality, and suggestions would be furnished to tame the monkeys.

According to Chairperson Dambar Katwal, monkeys have damaged crops, mainly maize and paddy in the municipality.

Troops of monkeys have perished crops in a short duration of time.
