Lalitpur-Bhaktapur in-charge of Biplav outfit arrested



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested Lalitpur and Bhaktapur districts in-charge of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) led by Netra Bikram Chand (Biplav) Tek Bahadur KC.

Acting on a tip-off, a special squad of plainclothes police arrested KC from Bhaktapur district on Thursday night.

Police have claimed that it also seized an important document in possession of KC, who is also an alternative central member of the Biplav-led party.

Earlier, police had arrested Nabin BK for his involvement in the bomb explosion that took place at the Ncell Office in Lalitpur.

NCP had appointed KC as the in-charge of two districts after then Lalitpur in-charge BK was promoted to Kathmandu Valley in-charge.
