NEPALGUNJ: Police have arrested three people including an Indian national with brown sugar in Nepalgunj in Banke district.

A police team deployed from Narcotics Control Bureau, Nepalgunj arrested Naresh Khatik alias Raju and Indian national Rohan Ansari with 20 grams of brown sugar on Thursday night.

Ansari of Baharain was arrested from Indian border Jamunah while he was fleeing to India, said Police Inspector Bir Bahadur Thapa.

Preliminary investigation has shown that Ansari was engaged in transporting brown sugar and selling the drug in Nepalgunj and its surrounding areas with the help of Khatik, aid Police Inspector Thapa.

Likewise, police have arrested Samir Ansari of Nepalgunj Sub-metropolitan City with 610 milligrams on Thursday.
