KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari offered tika to the distinguished persons, including Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, at the President House, Shital Niwas, on the occasion of Bada Dashain festival today.

President Bhandari on the occasion gave tika to PM Oli, his spouse Radhika Shakya and other distinguished persons. The Head-of-the-State Bhandari also offered tika to Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Rana, the National Assembly Chairman, Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, Deputy Prime Minister Ishwar Pokharel, the government ministers, the heads of the constitutional bodies, government high officials, Nepal Communist Party (NCP) general secretary Bishnu Poudel, among other persons.

The President is scheduled to offer tika to the members of the general public as well.
