VP Pun’s best wishes on Bijaya Dashami



KATHMANDU: Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun has extended best wishes for the continued prosperity of the nation as well as for the happiness, peace and good health of all the Nepalis, living in and outside the country, on the occasion of the Bijaya Dashami festival.

In best wishes message on the occasion of Bijaya Dashami today, Vice-President Pun said that Nepal is a multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, multi-religious, multi-cultural and a geographically diverse secular country and the constitution has guaranteed the right to protect and promote all religions and cultures.

Saying all the festivals celebrated in the country have been promoting mutual harmony, brotherhood and national unity among all Nepalis, he expressed the belief that the mutual harmony, brotherhood and national unity would remain intact through the medium of Bijaya Dashami.

“The Bijaya Dashami will further encourage all to make sovereignty, geographical integrity and freedom of Nepali people stronger by concluding the remaining task of constitution implementation. The festival will also encourage the people for mutual cooperation as well as head them towards the path of collaboration by uniting all Nepalis for building a prosperous nation along with national unity, economic social transformation”, reads the message.
