NC to go for 14th Gen Convention after party restructuring



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress has decided to  take a plunge into the 14th general convention by restructuring the party in line with the amended party statute by the second week of September.

NC top leaders of the NC on Sunday agreed  to form booth to provincial committees. Earlier, they had held talks on the formation of an ad-hoc committee to restructure the party.

NC is launching second National Awareness Campaign from September 8. Prior to this, the party has decided to form 6, 743 ward committees to 330 provincial committees, a news report in  Naya Patrika daily said.
