Cyclone Fani: Death toll rises to 41



ODISHA: The death toll in Cyclone Fani has risen to 41, Indian officials have said.

Meanwhile, power restoration work is in full swing in the cyclone-affected areas, according to media reports.

Till Tuesday, the death toll was 37. Authorities said fresh deaths were reported. According to authorities, they have used diesel generators for running the water pumps.

They hope that they would be able to restore power supply in the state capital by May 12. (Agencies)
