Re-polling at 168 booths of Tripura on May 12



NEW DELHI: India’s Election Commission (EC) announced polling across 168 booths of Tripura West parliamentary constituency as void. Indian media reported.

The EC said re-polling will be conducted on May 12 along with the sixth phase of the elections.

The EC took all material circumstances into account and declared that the polling on April 11 at the 168 polling stations in Tripura West parliamentary constituency as void.

The Congress and CPI (M) had earlier lodged complaints of misconduct and rigging in the elections there. (Agencies)
