100,000 patients hit over medical doctors’ protest

KATHMANDU: The health service was affected at the government hospital across the country due to the protest being by medical doctors on Sunday.

According to a report in Kantipur daily, over 100,000 patients were hit by the government medical doctors protest to halt services except in the emergency ward.

They have been boycotting services indefinitely since Friday demanding that they should be governed by the federal level, not by the provincial or the local.
