Supreme Court orders CK Raut’s release



KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court has issued orders to the government to release CK Raut, coordinator of Free Madesh Coalition, who is currently behind bars.

A bench of Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana and Justice Purusottam Bhandari issued the orders to release Raut dismissing the verdict of the Rautahat District Court.

The Rautahat District Court had on December 6 last year issued an order to arrest Raut on charges of sedition.
