United upsets PSG to enter knockout stage

LONDON: Manchester United has upset Paris St-Germain (PSG) on away goals to reach the Champions League quarter-finals.

Marcus Rashford’s 94th minute goal in the injury-time set the way for the United into knockout stage.

PSG’s Juan Bernat hit the goal against United in the 12th minute of the first-half following United’s Romelu Lukaku’s goal within 2 minutes of the opening time to equalize the game. He, again in 30 minutes, doubles the goals for the United.

Although both teams have equal goals in the aggregate (3-3), Manchester United wins on away goals to advance into the next level.
