Japanese tourist found dead in Nepal

MANANG: A Japanese tourist has been found dead at a hotel room in Disyang Rural Municipality-4 of the Upper Manang area on Saturday.

According to DSP Tika Bahadur Karki, Japanese national Hisako Kori, 67, holding passport number 0046262 was found dead in a hotel room of Hotel Himalayan Singi.

Police were informed about the incident at around 8 am today. The dead body was sent to the Katmandu-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for post-mortem.

The cause of death is yet to be ascertained.
