KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has laid emphasis on conducting a free, fair and impartial by-election in a fearless environment on November 30 this year.

At a press meet organized by the NCP Kaski Publicity Sub-Committee, Election Mobilization Sub-Committee in Pokhara on Thursday, leader Dahal spoke of the need to view the election as one of the democratic practices and be held as a healthy competition.

Dahal, also former Prime Minister, believed that the upcoming by-election would be a stepping stone for nation-building and for prospering Nepal.

Urging all the NCP cadres to join the publicity drive to make the Kaski constituency -2’s candidate from NC, he shared that all the candidates vie in the by-elections for House of Representatives, State Assembly and local units were selected unanimously.
