Rhino kills one in Chitwan

CHITWAN: An elderly man was killed after a rhinoceros attacked him here on Sunday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Gore Kumar, 72, of Kalika municipality-4.

The wild animal attacked him as he had been in the Pachakanya Community Forest area of Ratnanagar municipality-11 to pick wild vegetables.

He died on the spot and the body has been put at the Bharatpur Hospital for a post-mortem, the District Police Office Chitwan said.
