Shortage of doctors hampers service delivery in Mahakali Hospital

KAILALI: Shortage of doctors in the Mahakali Hospital, Kailali has affected the service delivery in the hospital.

The hospital is not in the position to provide treatment facilities to the patients.

The patients are being referred to other hospitals because of which the patients are compelled to pay high amount to seek treatment in private health clinics in neighboring towns of India.

The hospital has a quota for 28 doctors. However, only two doctors are available in the hospital currently.
