More than 100 arrested in Kashmir

NEW DELHI: Around 100 people were arrested in Kashmir after New Delhi announced abrogation of the constitutional provisions of Article 370.

Security forces rounded up around 100 people, including activists and political leaders since they were considered a threat to peace in the Kashmir valley, Indian media reports said.

The situation in Jammu and Kashmir remained ‘comfortable’ barring stray incidents of stone-pelting, officials have said.
