Police foil Indian national’s plan to murder a Nepali

BIRATNAGAR: Police have arrested three persons mobilized by an Indian national to murder a Nepali in Biratnagar today.

Hari Narayan Jha of Sarlahi, Nepal; Rakesh Jha of Sitamadi, India and another person have been arrested, police said. The trio were mobilized by an Indian national to murder Jitendra Raya, who has been residing in Biratnagar-8.

According to DSP Raj Kumar Khiuju of Morang district, police had on June 11 arrested Kunal Kumar, an Indian national, along with two automated pistols from Morang. Police had confiscated four magazines and eight rounds of bullets from Kumar, who had come to Nepal with an intent to murder Raya.

DSP Khiuju said that Hari Narayan and Rakesh were involved in the ploy to murder Raya as per Kumar’s plan.

Police have filed a case against them.
