Tree trimmer electrocuted



SEBASTIAN: A tree trimmer died in Sebastian Tuesday when he was electrocuted by a live power line, rescue workers said.

Pablo O’Campo Bustamante, 41, of Vero Beach, made contact with an active power line while landscaping, the Sebastian Police Department said in a news release.

The incident was reported at 11:54 a.m. in the 700 block of Dixie Terrace, Indian River County Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Kyle Kofke said.

Medical personnel arrived and turned off the power with the help of Florida Power & Light workers.

Bustamante was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after the arrival of rescue personnel, Kofke said.
