Govt committed to safety of Nepali workers abroad: Minister Bista



KATHMANDU: Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security, Gokarna Bista, has stated that the government was committed for the security of the Nepalese youths working abroad.

Minister Bista expressed this commitment in relation to the Ministry related to the issues of the Appropriation Bill at the National Assembly (NA) meeting on Sunday.

The government, he said, was looking for countries providing due wage and ensure safety to workers until employment opportunities were generated within the country.

The Minister also said that the government was confident of providing employment to half a million youths in a year. Minister Bista further said that the government was planning to create jobs to as many as 100 thousand youths at the 753 local levels.
