Singer Granger Smith’s son dies in ‘drowning accident’

Country star Granger Smith’s three-year-old son has died in a tragic drowning accident at home.

The singer took to Twitter and Instagram to share the tragic news. In an Instagram post, the singer revealed that he and his wife had been forced to let their son go after doctors failed to revive him after an accident.

Granger wrote: “I have to deliver unthinkable news. We’ve lost our youngest son, River Kelly Smith.

“Following a tragic accident, and despite the doctor’s best efforts, he was unable to be revived. Amber and I made the decision to say our last goodbyes and donate his organs so that other children will be given a second chance at life.”
