None can overcome a unified Congress: Koirala

BHAKTAPUR: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Dr Shashank Koirala has claimed that nobody could beat NC in the next election if it would be united.

Speaking at an interaction in Bhaktapur today, General Secretary Koirala said that there was no alternative to move ahead with a united Nepali Congress party.

Dr. Koirala stated that he was currently active in unifying NC and taking it forward. “I am endeavoring to bridge the gap between President Sher Bahadur Deuba and senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel to ensure party unity. NC would once again emerge as the largest.”

He also argued that it was wrong for Prime Minister KP Oli to centralize power at a time when the country has adopted and implemented a federal set-up.
