KANCHANPUR: A nephew has murdered his own uncle with an axe at Badaipur of Bhimdatta Municipality in the district.
According to police, Shiva Lohar hacked his uncle Gore to death with the axe over a land dispute on Monday evening.
“Gore, who was rushed to Baleri of India, died while undergoing treatment last night,” said SP Krishna Raj Ojha of Distric Police Office, Kanchanpur.
Police have taken Shiva into custody along with the axe for investigation.
