Sri Lanka holds new record in SAG athletics



KATHMANDU: Sri Lanka has created a historic record in 2019 SAG athletics by covering the men’s 4X100 meters relay at just 39:14 seconds.

Sri Lankan athlete Himasa Eashan, Chanuka Sandeep, Vinoj Suranjaya and Yupun Priyadas broke the earlier SAG record of 39.91 seconds for the same distance.

The 2004 record in men’s 4×100 relay was created by India in the 2004 South Asian Games.
