Nepal bags two gold medals in SAG golf

KATHMANDU: Nepal has won two gold medals in the golf under the 13th South Asian Games on Friday.

Nepali golfer Subas Tamang pocketed two gold medals for Nepal in single and team events held at Gokarna Forest Golf Course.

17-year-old Tamang created history by winning double gold at the youngest age. He defeated Bangladeshi player.

Likewise, Nepal has secured gold in the team event. Golfers Tamang, Sukra Bahadur Rai, Tanka Bahadur Karki and Niraj Tamang are the participating players in the team event.
