9 including Malla debut as Nepal fields against MCC in 1st-class



KATHMANDU: Nepal is taking on visiting Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) in the three-day first-class cricket tournament being held at TU cricket ground in Kirtipur on Wednesday.

Nepal is fielding against MCC after winning the toss. Nine players including skipper Gyanendra Malla are making their debut in the first-class cricket format against MCC.

Only Sompal Kami and Sharad Vesawkar have played the first-class cricket tournament.

Nepal will play T20 cricket after this math.

MCC is currently on a tour in Nepal and is playing across multiple formats against the Nepali side in Kathmandu.
