President Bhandari pays homage to Palanchowk Bhagawati

KAVREPALANCHOWK: President Bidya Devi Bhandari today visited the Palanchowk Bhagawati based in Panchkhal municipality-9 in Kavrepalanchowk and paid homage to the goddess Bhagawati on the occasion of the Maha Astami, the eighth day of the Bada Dashain festival.

After paying homage to the goddess, the Head-of-the-State inquired with people’s representatives about the progress in regard to rebuild of the temple damaged by the earthquake.

District Coordination Committee chief Uddhab KC and deputy chief Manju Gautam, Dhulikhel municipality mayor Ashok Byanju and Panchkhal municipality deputy mayor Laxmi Danuwar welcomed the President who arrived here at 10:05 am.
