BIRGUNJ: A shot has been fired here on Tuesday after a heated dispute between two neighbors over a road.

Police have arrested two persons on the charge of opening the fire. The arrested is Kundan Shah, 20, of Birjung Metropolitan-20 and his father Mohan Shah.

SP Somendra Singh Rathore at District Police Office Parsa said that fire was opened after the dispute between Mohan Shah and his neighbor Brijesh Kumar Patel over the construction of the road and boundary wall.

SP Rathore said that Kundan opened fire from a licensed gun of his father to frighten his neighbor Patel.

“Following a heated dispute, the shot was fired in the air,” he said, adding that a further investigation was underway.
